Built exclusively for speed and performance her 50 inch hull is the perfect combination of slender beauty linked with the power of a six foot mast and 1200 square inches of sail area. At the same time the T50 is a work of art with gleaming mahogany and varnished western red cedar. The ultra light round bottom wood/carbon fiber hull weighs in at a remarkable 3 pounds fully loaded with RC gear and batteries. The metal ballast casting at the bottom of the 18 inch fin is 4.35 pounds. This is an exciting sailing experience and a boat that gets a lot of admiring attention in any group of sailors. The entire boat is designed so that you can build it easily from the kit. We label the kit advanced but any builder who has had some modeling experience or who is fairly competent will not have any trouble folllowing the excellent instructions that lead you through the building process step by step. This boat is the result of 25 years of designing model sailboat kits that sail excellently and can be easily built. For easy transport the keel comes off in seconds and the mast and sail unrig in just over a minute. The mast disassembles into two parts for transport. There can be no finer boat than this.
